Ailin Yuen: From 9-5 Office Worker to Professional Footballer



"I never thought at 34 years old I'd start playing professional football," Ailin Yuen laughs as he talks about his journey to becoming a professional footballer.

"I was an office worker who had never kicked a ball before," he goes on to explain. "But after some encouragement from friends I decided to give it a go and the rest is history. I'm proud of how far I've come."

Having made the switch from 9-5 office worker to professional footballer, Ailin has never looked back. "It's been an incredible journey and I'm proud of how much I've achieved," he says with a smile.

Now a member of the San Lorenzo Bulls, Ailin is fully focused on helping his team get back to the top of the game. "I love being part of a team that has such a winning mentality. We want to win at all costs and that drives us all to give our best."

The winger's recent form has been exceptional, with four matches played this season and the team currently ranking 8th out of 10 teams. He's scored one goal and contributed 0 assists so far.

"My practice ethics are extremely high and I'm always looking to stay fit and healthy," he says. Yuen's favorite club to play against is SUN and his favorite formation to play on is 4-5-1. His preferred playstyle is a neutral one.

"Football is my life now, and I couldn't be happier," he says.

Random interesting fact: Ailin Yuen is a huge fan of Mexican cuisine and can often be found at his favorite local Mexican place on his days off.
