Alberta SC Defender Kurtis Schmidt Opens Up About Balancing Football and Family
Interviewer: Kurtis, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start by talking about your experience playing at Alberta SC. How has the season been going for you so far?
Kurtis Schmidt: It's been a bit of a rollercoaster, to be honest. We've had some ups and downs, but I think we're starting to find our groove. Personally, I've been happy with my own performance on the pitch.
Interviewer: That's great to hear. You've been known for your exceptional skills as a defender. How do you stay at the top of your game?
Kurtis Schmidt: Well, I'll be honest with you, I'm not the type of player who spends hours in the gym or on the training pitch. I like to have a balance in my life, so I make sure to spend time with my family and have some fun off the field. But when it comes to game time, I give it my all.
Interviewer: That's a unique approach to the game. Do you have any favorite memories from your time at Alberta SC?
Kurtis Schmidt: Definitely playing against AVL. It's always a tough match, but I love the competition. They bring out the best in me, and I always look forward to those games.
Interviewer: You mentioned that you've been making healthier choices as you've gotten older. How has that impacted your performance on the pitch?
Kurtis Schmidt: It's made a huge difference. I used to indulge in fast food quite a bit, but I've been focusing on eating healthier and following a keto diet. It's helped me feel more energized and focused during matches.
Interviewer: That's fantastic to hear. Before we wrap up, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our readers?
Kurtis Schmidt: Sure! I'm actually a big fan of painting in my free time. It's a great way for me to relax and unwind after a tough match.
Interviewer: That's great to hear. Thank you for sharing that with us, Kurtis. We wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season at Alberta SC.
Kurtis Schmidt: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
