Alberta SC's Young Goalkeeper Ferris Islam Ready to Make a Mark

Interviewer: Ferris, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. You've had an exceptional season so far, with no goals conceded in the matches you've played. How do you manage to maintain such a strong defensive record?
Ferris: Thank you for having me. I think it's a combination of my skill as a goalkeeper and the hard work of my teammates in front of me. We have a solid defensive line that makes my job a lot easier.
Interviewer: You mentioned that you're not the hardest worker in practice but you still put in the work. How do you balance having fun with meeting the expectations of the club?
Ferris: It's all about finding the right balance. I know when it's time to focus and work hard, but I also believe that having fun is important for maintaining a positive mindset. As long as I'm meeting the expectations of the club, I don't see a problem with enjoying myself on the pitch.
Interviewer: It's great to hear that you prioritize both work and fun. Can you tell us a bit about your favorite club to play against and why?
Ferris: My favorite club to play against is GRR. They always bring out the best in me and it's a tough match every time we face them. I thrive under pressure and playing against GRR always gets me pumped up.
Interviewer: Lastly, we heard that you're progressively adopting healthier habits to prolong your career. Can you share with us what changes you've been making?
Ferris: Yes, I've been trying to cut down on fast food and incorporate more keto-friendly meals into my diet. It's all about taking small steps to improve my overall health and fitness levels. I want to ensure that I can continue playing at a high level for as long as possible.
Interviewer: Thank you for sharing that with us, Ferris. Best of luck for the rest of the season!
Ferris: Thank you, I appreciate it.
