August Ott: "Injured Defender August Ott Speaks Out on Rotorua Savages' Recent Form"

Interviewer: August, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by addressing your recent injury. How are you feeling and when can we expect to see you back on the pitch?
August Ott: Thank you for having me. It's been frustrating being on the sidelines, but I'm working hard on my recovery and hope to be back in action soon.
Interviewer: The Rotorua Savages haven't been performing as well as they would have liked this season. What do you think is the main reason for this slump in form?
August Ott: It's been a tough season for us, but I think we need to focus on our defense and tighten things up at the back. We've conceded too many goals, and that's something we need to address as a team.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics have been praised by your coach. Can you tell us a bit about your approach to training and how you stay motivated?
August Ott: I take my career very seriously and always strive to improve. I put in the extra hours on the training ground and make sure to take care of my body off the pitch. It's important to have a good balance between hard work and rest.
Interviewer: You mentioned adopting healthier habits as you've gotten older. How has this change impacted your performance on the pitch?
August Ott: Eating healthier and taking care of my body has definitely made a difference. I feel fitter and more energized during games, and I think it has helped me prolong my career.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
August Ott: Well, not many people know this, but I'm actually an avid chess player. I love the strategic aspects of the game and find it to be a great mental challenge.
Interviewer: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, August. We wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back on the pitch soon.
August Ott: Thank you, I appreciate the support. I can't wait to get back out there and help the team climb up the rankings.
