Berlin Mayhem Defender Curtis Fontaine Talks About His Unconventional Work Ethic

Interviewer: Curtis, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start by talking about your practice ethics. You're not known for your willingness to put in the extra work, but you still manage to perform exceptionally on the field. Can you tell us more about your approach to training and how you maintain your level of skill?
Curtis Fontaine: Well, football is important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I wouldn't call myself lazy, but I do have a wide range of interests outside of the game. I think it's all about finding a balance and making sure that I'm happy both on and off the pitch.
Interviewer: That's an interesting perspective. How do you stay healthy and maintain your fitness despite your relaxed approach to training?
Curtis Fontaine: I try to strike a balance between staying healthy and enjoying life. I have some healthy habits, but I also like to indulge in some not-so-healthy treats every now and then. It's all about moderation for me.
Interviewer: Moving on to your playing style, you seem to favor defending. What is it about defending that you enjoy the most?
Curtis Fontaine: I've always been good at reading the game and anticipating my opponent's moves. I find defending to be a challenging and rewarding position, and I take pride in keeping a clean sheet.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your favorite formation?
Curtis Fontaine: I always enjoy playing against SLB. They're a tough team, and it's always a good challenge. As for my favorite formation, I like the 4-2-3-1 because it allows me to excel in my defensive role while still supporting the attack.
Interviewer: Thank you, Curtis, for sharing your insights with us. One last question before we wrap up - can you share an interesting fact about your life that fans might not know?
Curtis Fontaine: Sure! I actually have a twin brother who also plays football professionally. We grew up playing together and have always pushed each other to be the best we can be. It's been a great journey so far, and I'm excited to see where it takes us next.
