Damaris Castor: It's been a tough season for us at Rotorua Savages. We haven't been performing as well as we had hoped, and it's been a real challenge out on the pitch. But I'm giving it my all every time I step onto the field.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics are known to be extremely dedicated. Can you tell us a bit more about your commitment to the game?
Damaris Castor: Football is my life. I eat, sleep, and breathe the sport. I am willing to do whatever it takes to improve and succeed, even if that means sacrificing other aspects of my life. It's all about the game for me.
Interviewer: You mentioned that your favorite club to play against is LEO. What is it about facing them that you enjoy?
Damaris Castor: LEO is a tough opponent, and I relish the challenge of going up against them. It pushes me to be a better player and gives me the opportunity to showcase my skills on the field.
Interviewer: As a defender, what is your favorite aspect of the game?
Damaris Castor: I love defending. There's something so satisfying about shutting down the opponent's attacks and protecting my team's goal. It's a crucial role on the team, and I take a lot of pride in my defensive abilities.
Interviewer: Finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with us?
Damaris Castor: I actually used to be a gymnast before I fully committed to football. It taught me a lot about discipline and hard work, which I carry over into my football career.
