Exclusive Interview: Mathieu Dubois on his Career, Family, and Future Plans
Reporter: Good morning Mathieu, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your career with Rotorua Savages. How do you feel about your recent form and the team's current ranking?
Mathieu: Hello, thank you for having me. I am pleased with my recent performances, although I wish I could have scored a few goals by now. As for the team, we are doing well and currently sitting in third place, which is a good position to be in at this stage of the season.
Reporter: You have been known for your exceptional skills on the pitch. Can you tell us about your favorite play style and formation?
Mathieu: I love playing in an attacking style with a 4-3-3 formation. It allows me to showcase my skills and contribute to the team's attacking play.
Reporter: You have had a long and successful career in football. How have your practice ethics evolved over the years?
Mathieu: As a young player, I was not the most diligent when it came to practice. However, with age and experience, I have realized the importance of taking care of my body and adopting healthier habits to prolong my career. I am now more conscious of my diet and fitness routine.
Reporter: You mentioned spending time with your family is important to you. Can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Mathieu: One interesting fact about me is that I am an avid collector of vintage football jerseys. I have a passion for the history of the sport and love to add unique pieces to my collection.
Reporter: Lastly, what are your future plans for your career in football?
Mathieu: I hope to continue playing at a high level for as long as I can. I am also considering pursuing coaching or mentoring younger players in the future. Football has been a huge part of my life, and I want to give back to the sport that has given me so much joy.
