Exclusive Interview with Alberta SC Defender Alanya Berk

Reporter: Thank you for sitting down with us today, Alanya. Let's start off by talking about your practice ethics. You are known for your extreme dedication to improving as a footballer. Can you tell us about your daily routine and how you maintain such a high level of commitment?

Alanya: Thank you for having me. My routine is pretty simple - it's all about football. I wake up early, hit the gym, then head to the field for training. I spend hours studying game tape, analyzing my own performance, and working on my weaknesses. I don't have time for anything else in life, but that's okay because football is my passion.

Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is CCC. Can you tell us why that is?

Alanya: CCC has always been a tough opponent for me, which is why I enjoy playing against them. They push me to my limits and force me to be at the top of my game. Plus, the atmosphere during those matches is always electric.

Reporter: You have yet to concede a goal this season. What do you attribute your strong defensive record to?

Alanya: It's all about communication and teamwork. My fellow defenders and I have a great understanding on the pitch, and we work together seamlessly to shut down the opposition. Plus, our goalkeeper is top-notch, which makes my job a lot easier.

Reporter: You mentioned that you have been adopting healthier habits to prolong your career. Can you tell us more about that?

Alanya: As a younger player, I wasn't as health-conscious as I should have been. But as I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've cut out fast food and switched to a keto diet, which has helped me maintain my fitness levels and stay in top form.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our audience?

Alanya: Well, before I became a professional footballer, I actually studied engineering in university. Football has always been my true passion, but it's nice to have a backup plan just in case.
