Exclusive Interview with Alberta SC Defender Emery Wilder
Reporter: Thank you for joining us, Emery. Let's start off by talking about your recent form. You've been exceptional on the pitch so far this season. How do you maintain such a high level of performance?
Emery Wilder: Thank you for having me. I think it all comes down to my experience and my dedication to the game. I may not be the hardest worker, but I always make sure to meet the expectations of the club and give my all on the field.
Reporter: Speaking of dedication, you've been known to push through injuries and concussions. How do you manage to keep playing at such a high level despite these setbacks?
Emery Wilder: (laughs) I guess you could say my body is more of a ruin than a temple. But I love the game so much that I can't imagine not being out there on the pitch, giving it my all. It's all part of the job.
Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is IDF. Why is that?
Emery Wilder: IDF always brings out the best in me. Their style of play challenges me as a defender, and I thrive on that competition. Plus, there's always a bit of extra motivation when facing them.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our audience?
Emery Wilder: Well, not many people know this, but I actually have a twin brother who used to play professional football as well. We were both defenders, but he decided to retire early due to injuries. It's always been a source of motivation for me to keep playing and make him proud.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Emery. Best of luck for the rest of the season with Alberta SC.
Emery Wilder: Thank you. I'll do my best to help the team climb to the top of the table.
