Exclusive Interview with Alberta SC Defender Rosina Piazza

Reporter: Rosina, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start by discussing your recent injury. Can you give us an update on your status and when we can expect to see you back on the pitch?
Rosina: Unfortunately, I sustained a minor injury during training last week and I'll be out for a few more weeks. It's frustrating because I was really looking forward to the start of the season and helping my team on the field.
Reporter: That's tough luck. How have you been coping with being sidelined and what are you doing to ensure a speedy recovery?
Rosina: It's been tough, no doubt about it. But I'm using this time to focus on my rehabilitation and ensure that I come back stronger than ever. I'm working closely with our team's physiotherapist and following a strict training regimen to get back to full fitness.
Reporter: Your coach has always praised your work ethics and dedication to the game. How do you balance your serious approach to training with the ability to let loose off the pitch?
Rosina: It's all about finding the right balance. On the pitch, I give it my all and constantly strive to improve. Off the pitch, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the cinema or trying out new restaurants. It's important to switch off and recharge to stay motivated and focused.
Reporter: It's clear that you are a mature player with a wealth of experience. How do you feel your game has evolved over the years, especially in terms of your health and fitness?
Rosina: When I was younger, I didn't pay as much attention to my health and fitness as I should have. But as I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body and adopting healthier habits. I've cut down on fast food and switched to a more balanced diet, focusing on proteins and healthy fats to prolong my career.
Reporter: Lastly, what are your goals for the rest of the season and beyond, both on and off the pitch?
Rosina: My main goal is to recover from this injury and get back to playing at my best for Alberta SC. I want to help my team achieve success and continue to push myself to improve as a player. Off the pitch, I have a passion for coaching and hope to pursue that avenue once my playing career comes to an end.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Rosina. We wish you a speedy recovery and all the best for the rest of the season.
Rosina: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
