Exclusive Interview with Alberta SC Defender Velda Conrad
Reporter: Velda, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. How do you feel about your recent exceptional form despite your mature age and weak skill level?
Velda Conrad: It's all about hard work and dedication. I may not be the most talented player on the field, but I make up for it with my work ethic. I push myself to the limit every day in training to improve and help my team.
Reporter: You mentioned that you like clubs that invest in player development. How has Alberta SC supported your growth as a player?
Velda Conrad: Alberta SC has been great in providing me with resources and opportunities to improve. The coaching staff here really focuses on individual development, which has helped me progress even at this stage of my career.
Reporter: Can you tell us about your practice ethics? It seems like you have a very intense approach to training.
Velda Conrad: Absolutely. Football is my life, and I will do anything to succeed in this sport. I don't have time for distractions or leisure activities. My only goal is to thrive as a footballer, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve that.
Reporter: It's clear that football means everything to you. How do you maintain such a high level of performance despite your age and physical condition?
Velda Conrad: I have always been willing to push myself beyond my limits. I have played through injuries and concussions, and I have never let anything hold me back. My body may not be in the best shape, but my determination and passion for the game keep me going.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Velda Conrad: Well, despite my intense focus on football, I do have a soft spot for gardening. It's a hobby that allows me to relax and unwind after a tough training session or match. It's a nice contrast to the intensity of football.
