Exclusive Interview with Alberta SC's Hena Marcin: "I Want to Build Team Chemistry"
Reporter: Hena, first of all, let's talk about the recent news that you're on the transfer list of Alberta SC. How do you feel about that?
Hena Marcin: I understand that it's part of the business and the club has to make decisions that are best for them. I'm just focused on doing my job and improving as a player.
Reporter: You mentioned improving as a player. What are some of the things you're doing to achieve that?
Hena Marcin: I'm always trying to learn from my coaches and teammates. I watch a lot of game footage and analyze my own performances. I work on my weaknesses and try to hone my strengths. Basically, I do everything I can to become a better player.
Reporter: You've played only one match so far this season and haven't scored any goals or assists. Do you think this is affecting your chances of being transferred to another club?
Hena Marcin: I don't think so. Football is a team sport and my contribution goes beyond just scoring or assisting. I try to create space for my teammates, I defend well, and I always give my 100%. I'm confident that my skills and work ethic will be valued by any club that is interested in me.
Reporter: You mentioned that you like clubs that invest in team chemistry and culture. Can you elaborate on that?
Hena Marcin: In my opinion, a football team is like a family. You spend a lot of time with your teammates, you share your victories and defeats, and you build a bond that goes beyond the pitch. When a club fosters a positive culture and encourages team chemistry, it reflects on the performance of the players. They feel motivated, supported, and connected. That's the kind of environment I thrive in.
Reporter: That's interesting. What's your favorite club to play against?
Hena Marcin: I really enjoy playing against IDF. They have a strong defense and a challenging play style. It's always a good match when we play against them.
Reporter: What's your favorite formation and play style?
Hena Marcin: My favorite formation is 4-3-3 and my favorite play style is defending. I like to be part of a solid defense and help my team keep a clean sheet.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life?
Hena Marcin: Well, I'm a bit of a bookworm. Whenever I have some free time, I like to read classic literature. It helps me relax and broaden my perspective.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Hena. Good luck with your future endeavors.
Hena Marcin: Thank you. It was a pleasure.
