Exclusive Interview with Alberta SC's Midfield Maestro Pheng Lin
Reporter: Pheng, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Your recent form has been exceptional, but you have yet to make an appearance in any matches this season. Can you shed some light on why that is?
Pheng Lin: Thank you for having me. It's been a bit frustrating to not have played yet this season, but I trust the coach's decisions and I'm just focused on working hard in training and being ready when my opportunity comes.
Reporter: You have been described as not the hardest worker, but also not the worst in terms of practice ethics. How do you find the balance between having fun and meeting the expectations of the club?
Pheng Lin: I believe in working hard when it's necessary, but also enjoying the game and having fun. It's important to strike a balance and not take things too seriously all the time. I think that helps me perform better on the pitch.
Reporter: What is your favorite club to play against and why?
Pheng Lin: I always enjoy playing against GRR. They have a strong team and it's always a competitive match. It brings out the best in me and pushes me to work harder.
Reporter: Can you tell us about your favorite formation and play style?
Pheng Lin: My favorite formation is 4-5-1 because it allows me to control the midfield and support both defense and attack. My play style is neutral, I like to be versatile and adapt to the situation on the pitch.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life off the pitch?
Pheng Lin: Well, not many people know this, but I am also a talented musician. I play the guitar and love to write and perform my own music in my free time.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, Pheng. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
Pheng Lin: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
