Exclusive Interview with Ansel Kaufman, Rotorua Savages Defender

Interviewer: Ansel, thank you for taking the time to chat with us today. Let's start off by addressing your recent injury. Can you give us an update on your recovery process?

Ansel: Of course, it's been a frustrating time for me being on the sidelines, but I'm working hard with the medical team to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. It's tough being away from the game, but I'm determined to come back stronger than ever.

Interviewer: Your recent form hasn't been the best, with the team conceding 3 goals in 4 matches. What do you think has been the issue?

Ansel: We've had a few slip-ups defensively, and as a defender, that's something I take personally. We need to tighten up at the back and work on our organization as a team. I'm confident we can turn things around and get back to winning ways.

Interviewer: You're known for your attacking play style and exceptional skills on the field. How do you balance that with your laid-back attitude towards training?

Ansel: Football is my passion, and I always give my all on the pitch. But I also believe in enjoying life outside of the game and spending time with my loved ones. I may not be the hardest worker in training, but I always show up when it matters most in matches.

Interviewer: What's your favorite memory from your time with Rotorua Savages so far?

Ansel: It has to be our cup final win last season. It was a tough match, but we came out on top and lifted the trophy. The celebrations that followed were unforgettable, and it's moments like that which make all the hard work worth it.

Interviewer: Lastly, do you have any hobbies or interests outside of football that fans might not know about?

Ansel: I'm a bit of a thrill-seeker off the pitch. I love skydiving and bungee jumping, anything that gets the adrenaline pumping. It's a great way to clear my mind and recharge for the next game.

Interviewer: Well, thank you for sharing a bit more about yourself with us, Ansel. We wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back in action soon.
