Exclusive Interview with Berlin Mayhem Defender Burma Cheng
Reporter: Good afternoon Burma, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your current season with Berlin Mayhem. How do you feel about your performance so far?
Burma: It's been a bit of a mixed bag to be honest. I think I've been putting in a decent effort on the field, but our recent form as a team hasn't been up to par. We've conceded quite a few goals this season, which is not ideal. But I'm confident we can turn things around.
Reporter: You're known for your exceptional skill as a defender. What do you attribute this to?
Burma: I think it's a combination of natural talent and hard work. I may not be the most dedicated player in terms of extra practice, but I do take care of my body and make sure I'm in top physical condition. That, coupled with my love for defending and my favorite formation, has helped me excel in my role on the team.
Reporter: Speaking of practice, some have labeled you as lazy when it comes to putting in extra work. How do you respond to that?
Burma: I think everyone has their own approach to the game. Football is important to me, but so is spending time with my family and pursuing other interests. I believe in balance, and I think it's possible to be successful on the field without sacrificing all other aspects of life.
Reporter: That's a great perspective to have. Now, let's talk about your favorite club to play against, MAR. What is it about them that makes those matches stand out for you?
Burma: MAR is a tough opponent, and I love the challenge they bring to the field. It pushes me to elevate my game and really test my skills as a defender. Plus, the competitive atmosphere in those matches is always exciting.
Reporter: Before we wrap up, can you share a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?
Burma: Well, I actually have a passion for cooking. I love experimenting with different recipes and creating delicious meals for my family and friends. It's a creative outlet for me outside of football.
Reporter: That's fantastic to hear. Thank you for sharing that with us, Burma. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season with Berlin Mayhem.
Burma: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
