Exclusive Interview with Berlin Mayhem's Defender Kirby Maeda

Reporter: Kirby, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. How do you feel about your recent exceptional form on the pitch?

Kirby: It's been a great season so far, and I'm just trying to contribute as much as I can to help the team. I've been working hard in training and focusing on my game, so I'm happy to see it paying off on match days.

Reporter: Your coach has praised your serious practice ethics. How do you balance your dedication to the game with letting loose off the pitch?

Kirby: It's all about finding that balance. I know that to perform at my best, I need to put in the work on and off the pitch. But I also understand the importance of taking some time to relax and recharge. It's all about finding that harmony between work and play.

Reporter: With age, you're adopting healthier habits to prolong your career. Can you tell us more about this transition?

Kirby: As a young player, I definitely wasn't the most health-conscious. But as I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've been focusing on my diet, cutting back on fast food and embracing a more keto-friendly lifestyle. It's made a big difference in how I feel on the pitch.

Reporter: What has been your favorite match this season and why?

Kirby: I would have to say our match against RAI. It's always a tough game, but I love the challenge of playing against them. It brings out the best in me and pushes me to perform at my highest level.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?

Kirby: Well, not many people know this, but I'm actually a trained chef. I love experimenting in the kitchen and trying out new recipes in my free time. It's a great way for me to unwind and relax away from the pressures of the game.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Kirby. We wish you continued success with Berlin Mayhem and look forward to seeing more of your exceptional form on the pitch.
