Exclusive Interview with Berlin Mayhem's Defender Stefan Emery

Reporter: Stefan, congratulations on your exceptional form this season with Berlin Mayhem. How do you feel about your performance so far?

Stefan Emery: Thank you. I'm pleased with how things have been going for me personally and for the team as well. We are currently in 2nd place and I believe we have a good chance of winning the league this season.

Reporter: You are known for your attacking play style as a defender. How do you balance your defensive duties with your desire to push forward and contribute to the attack?

Stefan Emery: It's all about finding the right balance. I know when to stay back and defend, but I also have the freedom to join the attack when the opportunity presents itself. My favorite formation, 4-3-3, allows me to do that effectively.

Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is AVL. Is there a particular reason why you enjoy facing them on the pitch?

Stefan Emery: I've always had good matches against AVL. They bring out the best in me and I relish the challenge of playing against them. It's always a tough battle, but I enjoy every minute of it.

Reporter: It's been said that you have a wide range of interests outside of football. How do you manage to balance your personal life with your professional career?

Stefan Emery: Football is my passion, but I also have other interests that I enjoy pursuing. I believe in maintaining a healthy balance between work and play. It's important to me to spend time with my family, have fun, and stay healthy both physically and mentally.

Reporter: Finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know about you?

Stefan Emery: Well, one interesting fact about me is that I am an avid chess player. I find that playing chess helps me improve my strategic thinking on the football pitch as well. It's a great mental exercise for me.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Stefan. We wish you and Berlin Mayhem the best of luck for the rest of the season.

Stefan Emery: Thank you. It was a pleasure speaking with you.
