Exclusive Interview with Cobras United Midfielder Mako Alani

Reporter: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Mako. Let's start with your recent form, which has been exceptional. How have you managed to stay at the top of your game at the age of 33?

Mako: Thank you for having me. I think my experience has played a big part in maintaining my performance level. I know my strengths and weaknesses, and I try to play to them to the best of my ability.

Reporter: You've mentioned that you like clubs who invest in team chemistry and culture. How has Cobras United lived up to your expectations in that regard?

Mako: Cobras United has been great in that aspect. The team spirit and camaraderie here are fantastic, and it really helps us on the pitch. I feel like I belong here, and that's important to me.

Reporter: You haven't played any matches this season. Can you tell us why that is?

Mako: Unfortunately, I picked up an injury during pre-season training that has kept me sidelined. It's been frustrating, but I'm working hard to get back to full fitness as soon as possible.

Reporter: You're known for your unique play style of defending. What draws you to that aspect of the game?

Mako: I've always enjoyed the physicality and tactical side of defending. It's a challenge to read the game and anticipate the opposition's moves. Plus, there's nothing quite like a well-timed tackle to get the adrenaline pumping.

Reporter: One last question before we wrap up. Can you share a random interesting fact about your life with our readers?

Mako: Well, I actually used to be a professional dancer before I pursued a career in football. It might surprise some people, but I think my background in dance has helped me with my agility and footwork on the pitch.

Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, Mako. We wish you a speedy recovery and all the best for the rest of the season.

Mako: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
