Exclusive Interview with Cordoba Gauchos Midfielder Karlene Shafer

Interviewer: Thank you for sitting down with us, Karlene. Let's start with the big news - you're on the transfer list at Cordoba Gauchos. How do you feel about that?
Karlene: Honestly, I saw it coming. I haven't been getting much playing time this season and I understand that the club needs to make some changes. I'm just focused on giving my best wherever I end up next.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics have been described as not the hardest worker but also not the worst. How do you respond to that?
Karlene: I believe in working smart, not just working hard. I know my body has been through a lot over the years, so I try to manage my training to avoid further injuries. But when it comes to game time, I always give it my all.
Interviewer: You have a reputation for enjoying a good party. How do you balance that with your professional career?
Karlene: (laughs) Well, I think it's important to have a good time off the pitch to stay mentally fresh. But when it's time to focus on the game, I can switch gears and give my full attention to the match.
Interviewer: Any regrets about your playing style affecting your health?
Karlene: Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing. I've always played the game with passion and intensity, and I've had some amazing experiences because of it. I know my body may not age well, but I have no regrets.
Interviewer: Lastly, tell us about your favorite club to play against - SLB. What makes those matches special for you?
Karlene: SLB has always been a tough opponent for me, but I love the challenge. There's nothing like the intensity of those matches and the rivalry between our clubs. It always brings out the best in me.
Interviewer: Thank you for your time, Karlene. Good luck with your future endeavors.
Karlene: Thank you, it was a pleasure.
