Exclusive Interview with Defender Gretchen Frey: The Thriving Machine
Reporter: Gretchen, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. You have had an exceptional career so far, with your recent form being nothing short of outstanding. Can you tell us about your approach to the game and how you maintain such high levels of performance?
Gretchen Frey: Thank you for having me. My approach to the game is simple - I am willing to do whatever it takes to thrive as a footballer. I have no friends, I don't indulge in fun activities, all I do is work on improving my skills day in and day out. My only goal in life is to be the best footballer I can be, and I will do anything to achieve that.
Reporter: That level of dedication is truly impressive. How do you balance that intense focus with maintaining your health and longevity in the game?
Gretchen Frey: My body is my most important asset, and I treat it as such. I turn down late nights and other distractions that could potentially jeopardize my career. I am taking all the necessary steps to ensure that I have a long and healthy career as a footballer.
Reporter: It's clear that your hard work and dedication are paying off, as you have yet to concede a goal this season. What is your mindset when you step onto the field, especially against your favorite club to play against, OSV?
Gretchen Frey: My mindset is always focused on the game at hand. I approach each match with a neutral play style, ready to adapt to whatever the situation calls for. Playing against OSV is always a challenge, but it's one that I relish and look forward to each time.
Reporter: Before we wrap up, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Gretchen Frey: Despite my intense dedication to the game, I do have a soft spot for animals. I volunteer at a local shelter in my free time, helping to care for and find homes for abandoned pets.
