Exclusive Interview with Defender Kaz Kimura of The Gymnastic Society

Reporter: Kaz, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by discussing your recent form - you haven't played any matches this season but your skill and form are still exceptional. How do you manage to stay in such good shape without regular game time?

Kaz: Thank you for having me. It's true that I haven't played any matches yet this season, but I make sure to stay fit and ready for whenever the coach needs me. I may not be the most health-conscious player on the pitch, but with age and experience, I've made an effort to adopt healthier habits to prolong my career.

Reporter: That's great to hear. It's important to take care of yourself, especially as you get older in the game. Now, let's talk about your practice ethics. Some may say you're not known for putting in the extra work, but you still manage to perform exceptionally on the field. How do you balance football with your other interests?

Kaz: Football is definitely important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I may not always be the first one on the training ground or the last one to leave, but I make sure to give my best effort when I'm out there. People may call me lazy, but I like to think I have a wide range of interests that keep me balanced.

Reporter: It's great to see that you have a well-rounded life outside of football. Now, let's talk about your favorite club to play against - SAV. What is it about facing them that gets you excited?

Kaz: SAV has always been a tough opponent, and I relish the challenge of going up against them. They have a strong attacking presence, which gives me the opportunity to showcase my defending skills. It's always a battle when we face off, and I enjoy every minute of it.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life that fans might not know?

Kaz: One interesting fact about me is that I used to be a competitive chess player before I pursued a career in football. I've always enjoyed the strategic aspect of the game, which I think has helped me on the pitch as well.

Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, Kaz. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season with The Gymnastic Society.

Kaz: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
