Exclusive Interview with Defender Lin Hoy: The Ageless Warrior of Ile-de-France Foot
Reporter: Lin, you have been in exceptional form this season despite not playing any matches. Can you tell us how you've managed to maintain such a high level of performance?
Lin: Thank you, it's all about staying sharp mentally and physically. I may not be playing in matches, but I am constantly training and pushing myself to be ready when my opportunity comes.
Reporter: Your coach has praised your work ethic both on and off the pitch. How do you manage to balance your serious approach to your career with letting loose once in a while?
Lin: It's all about finding the right balance. I know when to focus and give my all, but I also know the importance of enjoying life and taking time to relax. It's all about finding that harmony.
Reporter: We hear you've been adopting healthier habits as you get older. How has that journey been for you?
Lin: It's definitely been a process, but I've been gradually making changes to my diet and lifestyle. Less fast food, more keto. It's all about taking care of my body so I can continue to perform at a high level.
Reporter: You have yet to concede a goal this season. What do you attribute this success to?
Lin: It's not just about me, it's about the entire team. We work together to defend as a unit and make sure we are solid at the back. It's a collective effort.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share with us a random interesting fact about your life?
Lin: Well, not many people know this, but I used to be a competitive chess player before I switched to football. It's all about strategy and thinking ahead, which has definitely helped me on the pitch.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Lin. Best of luck for the rest of the season.
Lin: Thank you.
