Exclusive Interview with Doha Falcons Defender Gretta Schroeder
Reporter: Gretta, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start with your current club, the Doha Falcons. What drew you to join them?
Gretta: Well, I like clubs that have a strong desire to win no matter what. The Falcons have that mentality, and I knew I could fit in well with their style of play.
Reporter: You've been in exceptional form this season, despite some critics labeling you as lazy. How do you respond to those criticisms?
Gretta: Football is important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I may not always put in extra work, but I still manage to perform on the pitch. Others may call me lazy, but I'd say I just have a wide range of interests.
Reporter: You've had your fair share of injuries and concussions. How do you manage to stay healthy and continue playing at a high level?
Gretta: My body may not be a temple, but it's gotten me this far. I've partied all night before cup finals and powered through injuries. I may not age well, but I'll make the most of my time on the pitch.
Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is SAV. Why is that?
Gretta: SAV always brings out the best in me. I enjoy the challenge they present, and it motivates me to give my all on the field.
Reporter: Lastly, tell us a random interesting fact about your life outside of football.
Gretta: I have a passion for cooking and have even considered pursuing it as a career after my football days are over. It's a nice escape from the intensity of the game.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing with us, Gretta. Best of luck for the rest of the season with the Doha Falcons.
Gretta: My pleasure, thank you.
