Exclusive Interview with Doha Falcons' Midfielder Almedin Stanek

Reporter: Good afternoon, Almedin. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start with your recent form - you've been exceptional this season, but have yet to make an appearance in any matches. Can you tell us what's behind that?
Almedin: Thank you for having me. It's been a bit frustrating not being able to play, but I've been working hard in training and staying ready for my chance. The coach has his reasons for the lineup decisions, so I just have to be patient and keep pushing myself.
Reporter: Speaking of training, some critics have called you lazy in the past. How do you respond to that?
Almedin: I think everyone has their own way of preparing for games. I may not be the most intense in training, but I always give my all on the pitch. Football is important to me, but I also like to have a good balance in life. Family and enjoying other interests are just as crucial to me.
Reporter: That's a fair point. On a different note, how do you maintain your health and fitness as you get older in your career?
Almedin: I have definitely had to make some changes over the years. I used to indulge in fast food quite a bit, but now I focus more on a healthier diet like keto. It's about taking care of my body so I can continue playing at a high level for as long as possible.
Reporter: And lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life with us?
Almedin: Well, many people don't know that I'm quite the artist off the pitch. I love to paint and create, it's a great way for me to relax and express myself in a different way.
Reporter: That's fascinating! Thank you for sharing that with us, Almedin. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season with Doha Falcons.
Almedin: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
