Exclusive Interview with Great OSV Forward Rodger Decker
Interviewer: Hello Rodger, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start off by talking about your recent form. You have been in exceptional form according to reports, yet you have not played a single match this season. Can you shed some light on that?
Rodger: Thank you for having me. Yes, it's true that I have not played any matches this season. It's been a bit frustrating, to be honest. I have been working hard in training, trying to prove myself to the coach, but for some reason, I have not been given the opportunity to showcase my skills on the field.
Interviewer: That must be tough. How do you stay motivated despite not being able to play?
Rodger: It's definitely not easy, but I try to focus on the positives. I keep pushing myself in training, trying to improve every day. I know that my time will come, and when it does, I want to be ready to make an impact.
Interviewer: Speaking of training, how would you describe your practice ethics?
Rodger: I would say that I am not the hardest worker, but I am also not the worst. I put in the work that is required of me, nothing more and nothing less. I also believe in having a good balance between work and play. I never turn down an opportunity to have fun, as long as I am able to meet the expectations of the club.
Interviewer: That's an interesting perspective. Let's talk about your healthiness. Reports suggest that you have powered through injuries and concussions. How do you manage to stay fit and ready to play?
Rodger: (laughs) I must admit, my body is more of a ruin than a temple. I have definitely had my fair share of injuries, but I always try to push through and keep going. I know that I may not age well in the long run, but for now, I am focused on giving my best for the team.
Interviewer: And finally, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your favorite formation and play style?
Rodger: My favorite club to play against is definitely OLP. They always bring out the best in me. As for my favorite formation, I prefer the 4-3-3, and I enjoy playing a defending style. I believe that a strong defensive game is key to success on the field.
Interviewer: Thank you, Rodger, for sharing your thoughts with us today. We wish you all the best in your future matches with Great OSV.
Rodger: Thank you for having me. I appreciate the support.
