Exclusive Interview with Kaz Kato: Valparaiso Mariners AC Midfielder Talks Team Chemistry and Healthier Habits
Interviewer: Good afternoon Kaz, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. How are you feeling about your recent exceptional form, despite not having played any matches this season?
Kaz Kato: Thank you for having me. It's been a bit frustrating not being able to play, but I've been working hard in training to stay sharp and make sure I'm ready when my opportunity comes.
Interviewer: That's great to hear. You mentioned that you like clubs that invest in team chemistry and culture. How do you think that has helped the Valparaiso Mariners AC this season, despite being ranked 9th out of 10 teams?
Kaz Kato: Team chemistry is so important in football. Even though we may not have the best results on the pitch, I believe that our strong bond as a team will help us turn things around. It's all about staying positive and supporting each other through the tough times.
Interviewer: That's a great mindset to have. Can you tell us a bit about your favorite play style and formation?
Kaz Kato: I really enjoy defending and being a part of a solid backline. I like the structure and discipline that comes with playing in a 3-5-2 formation. It allows me to contribute to both defense and attack, which I find very fulfilling.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life that fans might not know about you?
Kaz Kato: Well, I actually used to be a professional skateboarder before I decided to focus on football full-time. It's been a passion of mine since I was a kid, and I still love to skate in my free time.
Interviewer: That's fascinating, Kaz. Thank you for sharing that with us. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season with Valparaiso Mariners AC.
Kaz Kato: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
