Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC Forward, Arion Ballantyne
Reporter: Arion, thank you for taking the time to talk to us. Let's start off by discussing your recent form. You've played 13 matches this season and have scored 2 goals. How do you feel about your performance so far?
Arion: Well, I think I could have done better. Scoring goals is what I'm here for, so I need to step up my game and help the team climb up the rankings.
Reporter: Speaking of rankings, Lagos Sunshine FC is currently 7th out of 10 teams in the league. What do you think the team needs to do to improve?
Arion: We definitely need to work on our defense and tighten up the backline. We've been conceding too many goals, and that's something we need to address as a team.
Reporter: You mentioned your favorite club to play against is SON. Why is that?
Arion: SON always brings out the best in me. I love the challenge of facing them on the field, and it pushes me to perform at my highest level.
Reporter: Lastly, we've heard that you're not the hardest worker when it comes to practice. Can you tell us more about that?
Arion: (laughs) Well, I do like to have fun and enjoy myself, but I always make sure to meet the expectations of the club. I may not be the most dedicated player in training, but I always give my best on the pitch during games.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Arion. We wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season.
Arion: Thank you. It was a pleasure talking to you.
Interesting fact: Arion is an avid collector of vintage football jerseys and has over 50 in his collection.
