Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC Forward Jing Xiong

Reporter: Jing Xiong, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start with your recent form on the pitch. You've been exceptional so far this season, but haven't managed to score any goals. What do you attribute that to?
Jing Xiong: Thank you for having me. It's true that I haven't found the back of the net yet this season, but I've been focusing on creating opportunities for my teammates. Scoring goals is important, but ultimately what matters most is contributing to the team's success.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been praised by your coach. How do you balance your serious approach to training with your ability to let loose off the pitch?
Jing Xiong: I believe that it's important to find a balance between hard work and relaxation. I take my career seriously and invest a lot of time into improving my skills, but I also know how to have fun and unwind when the time is right. It's all about finding that equilibrium.
Reporter: You've been known to power through injuries and concussions. Do you worry about the impact that may have on your long-term health?
Jing Xiong: I try not to dwell too much on the potential long-term effects of my playing style. I love the game and give it my all every time I step onto the pitch. Of course, I understand the risks involved, but I'm willing to take them in order to do what I love.
Reporter: Lastly, what can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and your favorite formation and play style?
Jing Xiong: I always look forward to playing against GRR. They're a tough opponent, but I enjoy the challenge they present. As for my favorite formation, I prefer the 4-3-3 because it allows for a good balance between attack and defense. And my favorite play style would have to be neutral - I like to adapt to the situation and play whatever style is needed to help my team succeed.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Jing Xiong. It's been a pleasure speaking with you.
Jing Xiong: Thank you for having me.
