Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC Forward Mako Kauwe

Reporter: Hi Mako, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us. Let's talk about your recent injury first. How are you feeling and when can we expect to see you back on the pitch?
Mako: Thank you for having me. Unfortunately, my injury has been a setback for me and the team, but I'm working hard on my recovery. I hope to be back in action in the next few weeks.
Reporter: That's good to hear. Your recent form hasn't been the best, with zero goals scored this season. What do you think has been the issue for you?
Mako: It's been a tough season for me personally. I've been struggling to find the back of the net, but I'm confident that I can turn things around. I just need to keep working hard and stay focused.
Reporter: You've been known for your exceptional skill as a forward. How do you plan to bounce back and start scoring goals again?
Mako: I'm focusing on improving my fitness and refining my techniques. I believe that with hard work and determination, I can get back to my best form and start scoring goals for the team.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been a topic of discussion among fans and critics. Some have called you lazy, while others appreciate your diverse interests. What do you have to say about that?
Mako: Football is important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I believe that balance is key to success both on and off the pitch. I may not put in the extra work like some players, but I still give my all when I'm out there playing.
Reporter: Lastly, what are your goals for the rest of the season, both personally and for the team?
Mako: Personally, I want to get back to scoring goals and helping the team climb up the rankings. As a team, we need to work together and improve our performances to secure a better position in the league. I'm confident that we can turn things around and finish the season strong.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Mako. We wish you a speedy recovery and all the best for the rest of the season.
Mako: Thank you. It's been a pleasure.
