Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC Goalkeeper Sayuri Nitta
Interviewer: Hello Sayuri, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's dive right in - you have yet to play a match this season, can you tell us why that is?
Sayuri: Thank you for having me. It's been a bit of a slow start to the season for me, but I have been working hard in training and staying ready for when my opportunity comes.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics have been a topic of discussion in the football world, with some calling you lazy. How do you respond to that?
Sayuri: I wouldn't say I'm lazy, I just have a lot of interests outside of football. I believe in finding balance in life and enjoy spending time with my family and having fun. But when it comes to football, I always give my best on the pitch.
Interviewer: It's great to hear that you prioritize both your personal life and your career. How have you been working on improving your health habits as you get older?
Sayuri: As I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've been focusing on eating healthier and staying fit to prolong my career as much as possible. Less fast food and more keto, you know?
Interviewer: That's a smart approach to staying healthy. Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and why?
Sayuri: My favorite club to play against would have to be GRR. They always bring out the best in me and I enjoy the challenge they pose on the pitch.
Interviewer: Thank you for sharing with us, Sayuri. It's been a pleasure speaking with you and we wish you all the best for the rest of the season.
Sayuri: Thank you for having me, it's been a pleasure.
