Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC Midfielder Alda Diah
Reporter: Alda, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by discussing your current club, Lagos Sunshine FC. What do you enjoy most about playing for them?
Alda: Well, I have always been drawn to clubs that have a strong desire to win at all costs. Lagos Sunshine FC embodies that mentality and it motivates me to give my all on the pitch.
Reporter: You have been known for your exceptional skill as a midfielder. How do you maintain your level of play at the age of 38?
Alda: As I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've started to adopt healthier habits, such as following a keto diet and cutting back on fast food. It's all about prolonging my career and staying in top shape.
Reporter: Your practice ethic has been a topic of discussion among fans and critics. Some have labeled you as lazy, while others say you have a wide range of interests. How do you respond to those criticisms?
Alda: Football is important to me, but so is having fun and spending time with my family. I may not be the type to put in extra hours on the training pitch, but I still make it work. Everyone has their own way of approaching the game.
Reporter: You have played 7 matches this season with Lagos Sunshine FC, scoring no goals but providing one assist. How do you plan to improve your performance in the upcoming games?
Alda: I always strive to do better in each match. I will continue to work hard and support my teammates in any way I can. It's all about contributing to the team's success.
Reporter: Finally, Alda, do you have a favorite club to play against in the league?
Alda: I enjoy playing against LUC. They always bring out the best in me and it's always a competitive match.
(Interesting fact: Alda Diah is an avid collector of vintage football memorabilia, with a special interest in jerseys from past World Cup tournaments.)
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Alda. Best of luck in the rest of the season with Lagos Sunshine FC.
Alda: Thank you, it was my pleasure.
