Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC Midfielder Jaxzon Engstrom
Interviewer: Jaxzon, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start off with your recent form this season. You've been playing exceptionally well, but have yet to score a goal. What do you attribute that to?
Jaxzon: It's all about the team for me. I may not have scored any goals yet, but I've been focused on supporting my teammates and creating scoring opportunities for them. As long as the team is winning, that's all that matters to me.
Interviewer: Your practice ethics are known to be extreme, with a singular focus on becoming the best footballer you can be. Do you ever feel like you're missing out on other aspects of life?
Jaxzon: Football is my life. I've dedicated everything to this sport, and I have no regrets about the sacrifices I've made. I know that to succeed at this level, I have to give it my all every single day.
Interviewer: Your healthiness has been a topic of conversation, with reports of partying before matches and playing through injuries. Do you have any concerns about the long-term effects on your body?
Jaxzon: I'm fully aware of the risks I take, but I believe in pushing myself to the limit. I know that injuries are part of the game, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to keep playing. I may not age well, but I'll leave everything I have on the field.
Interviewer: Finally, you mentioned that your favorite club to play against is MAR. Can you tell us why that is?
Jaxzon: MAR is a fierce rival of ours, and every match against them is intense and competitive. I thrive in that kind of environment, and it brings out the best in me as a player.
Interviewer: Thank you for your time, Jaxzon. Best of luck for the rest of the season with Lagos Sunshine FC.
Jaxzon: Thank you. I'll continue to give my all for the team and hopefully, we can climb up the rankings.
