Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC's Defender Elena Greco
Reporter: Elena, you are known for your exceptional skills as a defender. Can you tell us about your practice ethics and how you maintain your form?
Elena: Well, I have a single-minded focus on football. I sacrifice everything else in my life to ensure I am at my best when I step onto the pitch. I train all day, every day, and I'm always looking to improve my game. That's the only way I can stay ahead of the competition.
Reporter: Lagos Sunshine FC is known for its attacking play. How does that suit your style and formation?
Elena: I love playing in a team that has an attacking style. It gives me the opportunity to push up and support the forwards. My favorite formation is 4-4-2, and I think it's a great formation for any team that wants to play an attacking style.
Reporter: You mentioned that you sacrifice everything else for football. Can you tell us more about that?
Elena: I don't have any friends outside of football, and I don't take part in any activities that don't involve the sport. That's just the way I am. Football is my life, and everything else takes a backseat to it.
Reporter: You mentioned that you like clubs that want to win at all costs. What's your favorite club to play against?
Elena: I love playing against GIZ. They are a fierce team, and they always give us a tough game. It's always a challenge to play against them, and that's what makes it exciting.
Reporter: Finally, can you tell us about a random interesting fact about your life?
Elena: Hmm, let me think. Well, I used to be a striker when I was younger. It wasn't until I was scouted by Lagos Sunshine FC that I switched to defense. I'm glad I made the switch, but sometimes I miss scoring goals.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Elena. We wish you all the best for the upcoming season.
Elena: Thank you. I'm looking forward to it.
