Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC's Rising Star Can Kagan
Reporter: Can, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your recent exceptional form on the pitch. What do you attribute your success to this season?
Can: Thank you for having me. I think my success this season has been a result of hard work on the training ground and a strong connection with my teammates on the field. We have been working well together, and that has translated into positive results for the team.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been a topic of discussion among fans and pundits. Some say you are lazy while others believe you have a wide range of interests. How do you respond to these criticisms?
Can: Football is definitely important to me, but I also believe in having a balance in life. I enjoy spending time with my family and pursuing other interests outside of the game. It's all about finding that balance and making sure I give my best on the pitch when it matters.
Reporter: It's great to see you taking steps to prolong your career by adopting healthier habits. Can you tell us more about this transition?
Can: As a young player, I wasn't the most health-conscious on the pitch. But with age and experience, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've been focusing on my diet and incorporating more healthy habits into my routine. It's all about longevity in the game.
Reporter: Lastly, Can, what are your goals for the rest of the season and beyond?
Can: My main goal is to continue performing at a high level for Lagos Sunshine FC and hopefully help the team secure a top spot in the league. Personally, I want to improve my goal-scoring record and contribute more assists to the team. Ultimately, I just want to keep growing and developing as a player.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Can, and best of luck for the rest of the season.
Can: Thank you. It's been a pleasure.
