Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC's Veteran Defender Lejla Bakir
Interviewer: Lejla, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start with your practice ethics. You are known for your exceptional work ethic and dedication to the game. Can you tell us more about your commitment to improving as a footballer?
Lejla: Thank you for having me. Football is my life, and I will do whatever it takes to be the best I can be. I have sacrificed a lot along the way, but it's all worth it when I step out onto the pitch.
Interviewer: You mentioned sacrificing a lot. Can you elaborate on that?
Lejla: Well, I don't have many friends outside of football. I don't go out much, I don't party. My focus is solely on my career. I train every day, I watch videos of my matches to analyze my performance, and I constantly seek ways to improve.
Interviewer: That level of dedication is truly commendable. How has your approach to health and fitness evolved over the years?
Lejla: When I was younger, I didn't pay much attention to my diet or fitness regime. But as I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body. I've started eating healthier, cutting out fast food and following a more keto-friendly diet. It has made a noticeable difference in my performance on the pitch.
Interviewer: That's great to hear. Now, let's talk about your favorite club to play against, GYM. What makes those matches stand out for you?
Lejla: Playing against GYM is always a challenge because they are a tough, physical team. But I enjoy the competition and the opportunity to test my skills against some of the best players in the league.
Interviewer: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Lejla: Well, despite my intense focus on my career, I actually have a hidden talent for painting. I find it to be a therapeutic outlet when I need a break from the game.
