Exclusive Interview with Lagos Sunshine FC's Young Midfielder Shoua Hong
Reporter: Shoua, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us. Let's start off by discussing your recent exceptional form on the pitch. Despite not having played any matches this season, you seem to be making quite an impact in training. Can you tell us what motivates you to keep pushing yourself, even when you're not getting game time?
Shoua Hong: Thank you for having me. I believe that hard work and dedication are key to success in football. I may not be playing in the matches right now, but I make sure to give my all in training and work on improving my skills every day. I know that my time will come, and I want to be ready when it does.
Reporter: It's clear that you have a strong work ethic. How do you balance your serious approach to your career with the need to relax and unwind?
Shoua Hong: I think it's important to find a balance between hard work and relaxation. When I'm on the pitch, I give it my all and focus on improving. But off the pitch, I make sure to spend time with my friends and family, and enjoy life. It's all about finding that balance and making sure to take care of both my physical and mental well-being.
Reporter: Speaking of physical well-being, you've been known to push through injuries and concussions. Do you ever worry about the long-term effects of these risks on your body?
Shoua Hong: I try not to think too much about the long-term effects. I know that playing football comes with risks, and I'm willing to take those risks in order to pursue my passion. Of course, I make sure to listen to my body and take care of myself as best as I can.
Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and why?
Shoua Hong: My favorite club to play against is LEO. They always bring out the best in me and it's always a tough but exciting match. I love the challenge of playing against them and I always look forward to those games.
