Exclusive Interview with Luchadores Midfielder Delbert Baker

Reporter: Delbert, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start with your recent form, it hasn't been great. What do you attribute that to?

Delbert Baker: Well, I've been struggling with some injuries lately which have definitely affected my performance on the pitch. I haven't been able to put in the extra work in training like I would have liked to, but I'm doing my best to get back to full fitness.

Reporter: You're known for your laid-back approach to practice and your wide range of interests outside of football. Do you think this impacts your game?

Delbert Baker: I think it's important to have a balance in life. Football is obviously important to me, but so is spending time with my family and pursuing other hobbies. I don't think being labeled as lazy is fair - I just have different priorities.

Reporter: Your healthiness has been called into question, with reports of partying before big matches and playing through injuries. How do you respond to that criticism?

Delbert Baker: Look, I've always given my all on the pitch, regardless of what may be going on off of it. I've played through some tough injuries in the past, but that's just part of the game. I know my body may not hold up forever, but I'm doing everything I can to take care of it.

Reporter: Moving on to football, what is your favorite club to play against and why?

Delbert Baker: Definitely SYC. They always bring out the best in me and the matches against them are always intense. It's a rivalry that I thrive in.

Reporter: Lastly, what can we expect from you and Luchadores for the rest of the season?

Delbert Baker: Despite my current injury, I'm confident that I'll be back stronger than ever. As for the team, we have a lot of talent and potential to climb up the rankings. We just need to stay focused and work together towards our goals.

Reporter: Thank you for your time, Delbert. We wish you a speedy recovery and the best of luck for the remainder of the season.

Delbert Baker: Thank you.
