Exclusive Interview with Melbourne United Midfielder Kaia Melia
Reporter: Kaia, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start off by talking about your current club, Melbourne United. You are currently ranked last in the league, how are you and the team planning to turn things around?
Kaia: It's been a tough season for us so far, but we're not giving up. We know we have the talent and the potential to climb up the rankings. We just need to work harder and stay focused on our goals.
Reporter: Speaking of hard work, some critics have labeled you as lazy due to your practice ethics. How do you respond to those comments?
Kaia: Everyone has their own way of preparing for games. I may not be the type to put in extra hours on the training ground, but I believe in my abilities on the pitch. Football is important to me, but so is enjoying life and spending time with my family.
Reporter: You have been known to push through injuries and concussions to play. Do you have any concerns about how this may affect your long-term health?
Kaia: I know I may not age well physically, but I'm willing to make sacrifices for the game I love. I want to make the most of my time on the pitch and leave a legacy behind.
Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us about your favorite club to play against and why?
Kaia: I always look forward to facing OIL. The matches against them are always intense and competitive. It brings out the best in me as a player.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, Kaia. We wish you and Melbourne United the best of luck for the rest of the season.
Kaia: Thank you, it was a pleasure.
