Exclusive Interview with Melbourne United's Midfielder Ranveer Singleton

Reporter: Thank you for taking the time to sit down with us, Ranveer. Let's jump right in - how do you think Melbourne United is performing this season?

Ranveer: We're doing alright. Obviously, being in first place is great, but I think we still have room for improvement. I'm always striving to be better and I think as a team, we can always work on our chemistry and communication on the field.

Reporter: Speaking of team chemistry and culture, what do you look for in a club?

Ranveer: It's important for me to be a part of a team that invests in their players and fosters a positive environment. I think that translates onto the field and helps us perform better as a unit.

Reporter: You're known for your exceptional skill on the field. Can you tell us about your practice ethics?

Ranveer: I believe in giving everything I have to become the best player I can be. That means sacrificing a lot - I don't really have time for friends or fun outside of football. But it's worth it to me if it means I can thrive as a footballer.

Reporter: That's quite a dedication. How do you prioritize your health while maintaining such a rigorous practice schedule?

Ranveer: My body is my most important asset. I treat it as such. That means turning down late nights and new athletic challenges that could put me at risk for injury. I want to have a long and healthy career.

Reporter: What's your favorite formation and play style?

Ranveer: I really like the 3-5-2 formation because it allows me to be creative in the midfield. As for play style, I prefer to stay neutral and adapt to the situation on the field.

Reporter: Do you have a favorite club to play against?

Ranveer: I always look forward to playing against BDB. They're a tough team and it's always a challenge to face them.

Reporter: Finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life?

Ranveer: Well, I used to be a professional dancer before I became a footballer. It's still a passion of mine and I try to incorporate dance into my celebrations on the field.

Reporter: That's definitely an interesting tidbit. Thank you for speaking with us today, Ranveer.

Ranveer: Thank you for having me.
