"Exclusive Interview with Melbourne United's Veteran Defender Pierre Bourgeois"

Reporter: Pierre, thank you for taking the time to sit down and chat with us. Let's start off by talking about your current situation at Melbourne United. You haven't played any matches this season, can you tell us why that is?
Pierre: Well, it's been a bit of a frustrating start to the season for me. I picked up a minor injury during pre-season training, which has kept me out of the squad for the first few games. But I've been working hard to get back to full fitness and hopefully will be back on the pitch soon.
Reporter: Despite not playing, your recent form has been exceptional. How do you manage to stay in such good shape and perform well even when not playing regularly?
Pierre: I think it's just a combination of good habits and a love for the game. I try to stay active, eat well, and take care of my body so that when the opportunity comes to play, I'm ready to give it my all. And of course, having fun and enjoying what I do is also a big motivator for me.
Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is OIL. Can you tell us why that is?
Pierre: OIL has always been a tough opponent for us, but I enjoy the challenge. They play a style of football that really tests our defensive abilities, which I thrive on. Plus, the atmosphere when we play against them is always electric, so it's a game I always look forward to.
Reporter: Lastly, we heard a random interesting fact about your life. Can you share that with us?
Pierre: Well, not many people know this, but I actually studied architecture in college before pursuing a career in football. I've always had a passion for design and creativity, so it's something that I still dabble in whenever I have free time.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Pierre. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season and hope to see you back on the pitch soon.
Pierre: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
