Exclusive Interview with Midfield Maestro Xan Zhang
Reporter: Xan, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start off by talking about your current form this season. You've been exceptional on the pitch, but surprisingly you haven't scored any goals or provided any assists. Can you explain this?
Xan Zhang: Thank you for having me. Yes, it's true that I haven't scored or assisted yet this season. It's been a bit frustrating, but I'm confident that the goals and assists will come. I've been working hard in training and doing everything I can to contribute to the team's success.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been described as extreme - with a singular focus on football and little room for anything else in your life. How do you maintain this level of dedication?
Xan Zhang: Football is my passion and my priority. I believe that in order to succeed at the highest level, you have to be willing to make sacrifices. I understand that this may not be for everyone, but it's what works for me. I am constantly striving to improve and be the best version of myself as a footballer.
Reporter: You mentioned that you're gradually adopting healthier habits as you get older. How important is it for you to prolong your career?
Xan Zhang: As I've gotten older, I've realized the importance of taking care of my body and maintaining my fitness. I want to continue playing at a high level for as long as possible, so I've been focusing on my diet and overall health. It's all about longevity and being able to perform at my best for many years to come.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share with us an interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?
Xan Zhang: One interesting fact about me is that I speak four different languages fluently - English, Mandarin, Spanish, and French. It's something that I've always been passionate about and it has helped me connect with teammates and fans from all over the world.
