Exclusive Interview with Midfield Maestro Zina Zuber
Reporter: Zina, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start off by talking about your current club, Lagos Sunshine FC. How are you finding your time there?
Zina Zuber: It's been a great experience so far. Lagos Sunshine FC is a club that is constantly striving for success and that's something I really admire. They have a great team spirit and a winning mentality, which is exactly what I look for in a club.
Reporter: You have been in exceptional form recently, what do you attribute your success to?
Zina Zuber: I think it all comes down to my work ethic. I am always pushing myself to be the best I can be, both on and off the pitch. I train relentlessly and never settle for anything less than perfection. That drive and determination have definitely helped me perform at the level I am at now.
Reporter: Your healthiness has been a topic of discussion recently, with some saying you take risks with your body. How do you respond to that?
Zina Zuber: Look, football is a tough sport and injuries are a part of the game. I have played through pain and pushed through injuries because I love the game so much. I may not age well, but I am willing to sacrifice my body for the sport that I love.
Reporter: You mentioned that you have no friends and don't indulge in any fun activities outside of football. Is that a conscious choice you have made?
Zina Zuber: Absolutely. My only goal in life is to thrive as a footballer, and that means making sacrifices. I am fully committed to my craft and will do whatever it takes to get better. That means no distractions, no friends, just work all day, every day.
Reporter: Finally, can you tell us a random interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?
Zina Zuber: Well, I actually have a pet parrot named Coco who I take everywhere with me. He's my little good luck charm and always keeps me company, even during those long hours of training.
Reporter: That's certainly a unique fact! Thank you for sharing that with us, Zina. Best of luck for the rest of the season with Lagos Sunshine FC.
Zina Zuber: Thank you, it's been a pleasure.
