Exclusive Interview with Mumbai Leopards Defender Thea Bacchus
Reporter: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Thea. Let's get right into it - how are you feeling about your recent form and the team's current ranking in the league?
Thea Bacchus: Honestly, I'm not too pleased with my recent performances. I know I can do better, and I'm going to do everything in my power to improve. As for the team, we're in a good position but we need to keep pushing to secure that top spot.
Reporter: You've been known for your strong defensive skills. What's your favorite part about playing in a 4-3-3 formation and focusing on defending?
Thea Bacchus: I love the challenge of shutting down the opposition's attacks. It's a real thrill for me to be able to anticipate their moves and make crucial tackles. Playing in a 4-3-3 allows me to really focus on my defensive duties and help protect the team's goal.
Reporter: We've heard that you have a reputation for your extreme dedication to training and improving as a player. Can you tell us a bit more about your practice ethic?
Thea Bacchus: Football is my life. I eat, sleep, and breathe the game. I'm constantly working on my skills, studying game footage, and pushing myself to be the best I can be. I don't have time for friends or fun - my only goal is to thrive as a footballer.
Reporter: You've had a few injuries throughout your career. How do you manage to push through the pain and keep performing at a high level?
Thea Bacchus: I've had my fair share of injuries, but I've learned to play through the pain. I've had concussions, broken bones, you name it. I know my body is not in the best shape, but I refuse to let that hold me back. I'll do whatever it takes to stay on the pitch.
Reporter: And finally, do you have a favorite club to play against in the league?
Thea Bacchus: Definitely ROY. They always bring out the best in me and it's always a tough, intense match when we face off against them.
Reporter: Thank you for your time, Thea. We wish you a speedy recovery from your current injury and the best of luck for the rest of the season.
Thea Bacchus: Thank you. I'll be back stronger than ever.
