Exclusive Interview with Mumbai Leopards Midfielder Alex Calandra

Reporter: Alex, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Let's start with your recent form, which has been exceptional despite only playing one match this season. How have you been able to maintain such strong performances?

Alex: Thank you for having me. I think it's just a combination of hard work on and off the pitch. I take my career very seriously and I'm always looking for ways to improve my game.

Reporter: Your practice ethics have been praised by your coach, who admires your work ethic. Can you tell us about how you balance your serious approach to training with letting loose once in a while?

Alex: It's all about finding that balance. I know when to focus and put in the extra effort, but I also know when to relax and enjoy myself. It's important to have that mental and physical break from the game.

Reporter: Despite your strong skillset, you have been placed on the transfer list by Mumbai Leopards. How do you feel about this decision?

Alex: It's just part of the game. I understand that clubs have to make decisions based on what's best for them. I'm just focused on giving my best for Mumbai Leopards until whatever happens.

Reporter: Moving onto your healthiness, it's been said that your body is more of a ruin than a temple. How do you manage to push through injuries and concussions to continue playing?

Alex: I've always had a high pain tolerance and a strong will to keep going, no matter what. I know I might not age well, but I'm just focused on playing the best I can for as long as I can.

Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us an interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?

Alex: Well, I actually have a twin brother who also plays professional football. We used to play together in the same team before going our separate ways. It's always a friendly rivalry between us.

Reporter: Thank you for sharing that, Alex. We wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors, whether that's with Mumbai Leopards or another club.

Alex: Thank you, I appreciate it.
