Exclusive Interview with Mumbai Leopards Midfielder Takeshi Higa

Reporter: Takeshi, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start with your recent form - you've been exceptional on the pitch this season. What do you attribute your success to?
Takeshi: Thank you. I think it's a combination of hard work, dedication, and a little bit of luck. I've been working on my skills both on and off the pitch, and I think that's really paid off in my performances.
Reporter: Your practice ethics have been praised by your coach. How do you balance your serious approach to your career with letting loose once in a while?
Takeshi: It's all about finding the right balance. I know when to focus and put in the work, but I also know when to relax and enjoy myself. It's important to have that balance to stay motivated and perform at my best.
Reporter: You've been through injuries and concussions, yet you continue to power through. How do you maintain your health and fitness despite these challenges?
Takeshi: I've always had a resilient mindset, and I believe in pushing through obstacles. I try to take care of my body as best as I can, but sometimes you have to play through the pain. I know that my body might not age well, but I'm willing to make sacrifices for my career.
Reporter: What has been your favorite match to play in so far this season?
Takeshi: Definitely the match against OSV. They're a tough opponent, and I always enjoy the challenge of playing against them. It's a great feeling to come out on top against such a strong team.
Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Takeshi: I have a passion for cooking. When I'm not on the pitch, you can usually find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes. It's a nice way for me to relax and unwind after a tough match.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Takeshi. Best of luck for the rest of the season with Mumbai Leopards.
Takeshi: Thank you, it was a pleasure.
