Exclusive Interview with Olympians Cariocas Defender Rodrick Baker

Reporter: Thank you for sitting down with us today, Rodrick. Let's start off by talking about your recent exceptional form, despite not having played any matches this season. How do you stay in top shape?

Rodrick: It's all about my practice ethics. I am constantly pushing myself to be better, sacrificing everything else in my life for the game. No friends, no fun, just work all day, every day.

Reporter: That's certainly dedication. How do you maintain your healthiness despite your rigorous lifestyle?

Rodrick: I've been through it all. From partying all night before a cup final to playing through injuries and concussions. My body may be a ruin, but I always push through.

Reporter: What do you look for in a club, besides a high salary for the players?

Rodrick: I like clubs that pay their players well, but I also enjoy playing against AVL. They always bring out the best in me.

Reporter: And finally, what is one interesting fact about your life that fans may not know?

Rodrick: Despite my tough exterior, I actually have a soft spot for animals. I volunteer at a local animal shelter in my free time.
