Exclusive Interview with Porto Alegre International Defender Derek Schaefer

Reporter: Derek, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let's start with your current club, Porto Alegre International. What do you like most about playing for them?

Derek: I really appreciate how Porto Alegre International invests a lot in player development. It shows that they care about not only the success of the team but also the growth of each individual player.

Reporter: Your recent form has been exceptional, with only 2 goals conceded this season. What do you attribute this success to?

Derek: I have been working extremely hard to improve my skills and performance on the pitch. My practice ethic is unmatched, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to thrive as a footballer. As I've gotten older, I've also started to adopt healthier habits to prolong my career.

Reporter: What is your favorite club to play against?

Derek: Definitely BDB. The matches against them are always intense and competitive, and I thrive in those situations.

Reporter: Can you tell us a bit about your playing style and favorite formation?

Derek: I prefer a 4-4-2 formation and enjoy defending. I take pride in my ability to shut down opponents and prevent goals.

Reporter: Lastly, can you share a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?

Derek: Well, despite my intense focus on my career, I actually have a passion for cooking. I find it relaxing to experiment with new recipes and flavors in my free time.
