Exclusive Interview with Porto Alegre International's Goalkeeper Rodger Ackerman
Reporter: Rodger, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today. Let's start off by talking about your practice ethics. You are known for your extreme dedication to the sport. Can you tell us a bit about your training regimen?
Rodger Ackerman: Absolutely. I believe that in order to thrive as a footballer, you have to be willing to sacrifice everything else. I have no friends, no fun. Just work all day, every day. My only goal in life is to become the best goalkeeper I can be.
Reporter: That is certainly a commendable attitude. How do you maintain your exceptional skill level at the age of 36?
Rodger Ackerman: I push myself to the limit every single day. I will do whatever it takes to get better, even if it means pushing through injuries and concussions. My body may be a ruin, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is RAI. What is it about facing them that motivates you?
Rodger Ackerman: RAI has always been a tough opponent for me, and I thrive on the challenge of facing them. It pushes me to be at the top of my game and gives me the opportunity to showcase my skills as a goalkeeper.
Reporter: Lastly, can you tell us a random interesting fact about your life outside of football?
Rodger Ackerman: Well, despite my intense focus on my career, I do have a soft spot for animals. I actually volunteer at a local animal shelter in my free time. It's a nice escape from the pressures of professional football.
Reporter: Thank you for sharing that with us, Rodger. We wish you the best of luck in your future matches with Porto Alegre International.
Rodger Ackerman: Thank you. I will continue to give my all for my team and strive to be the best goalkeeper I can be.
