Exclusive Interview with Raizes Sao Paulo Defender Anushka Novak

Reporter: Anushka, thank you for sitting down with us for this exclusive interview. Let's start off by talking about your current form with Raizes Sao Paulo. You've been exceptional on the field this season, what do you attribute this success to?

Anushka Novak: Thank you for having me. I think my recent form is a result of a combination of experience, hard work, and a love for the game. I may not be known for putting in extra practice hours like some of my teammates, but I believe in a balanced approach to life and football.

Reporter: Your favorite club to play against is GRR. What makes those matches so special for you?

Anushka Novak: Playing against GRR always brings out the best in me. The rivalry between our clubs is intense, and I thrive in that competitive atmosphere. It pushes me to give my all on the field and show what I'm truly capable of.

Reporter: Your favorite formation is 4-5-1 and you prefer an attacking play style. How do you think this benefits your team's overall performance?

Anushka Novak: I believe that being part of an attacking style of play allows us to control the game and create more scoring opportunities. It puts pressure on our opponents and keeps them on their toes. Plus, I enjoy being able to contribute to both the defense and the attack from my position as a defender.

Reporter: With Raizes Sao Paulo currently ranking 4th out of 10 teams, what do you think the team needs to do in order to climb up the table?

Anushka Novak: We have a strong team with talented players, but we need to work on consistency. Eliminating costly mistakes and staying focused for the full 90 minutes will be key for us to secure more wins and move up in the rankings.

Reporter: And finally, can you share a random interesting fact about your life off the field?

Anushka Novak: One interesting fact about me is that I am an avid salsa dancer. I find it to be a great way to unwind and relax after a tough match. Dancing brings me joy and helps me keep a positive mindset, which ultimately translates to my performance on the field.
