Exclusive Interview with Raizes Sao Paulo's Experienced Defender Giovanni Walters

Reporter: Giovanni, you're known for being a highly skilled defender with exceptional practice ethics. Can you tell us a bit about how you maintain your level of play?

Giovanni Walters: For me, football is not just a game; it's a way of life. I treat my body like my most valuable asset and do everything I can to keep it healthy. That means sacrificing late nights and other activities that might interfere with my training.

Reporter: You've played for a number of clubs throughout your career. What do you like most about a club?

Giovanni Walters: I like clubs that have a winning mentality. The goal should always be to win at all costs, regardless of the obstacles. That's what motivates me to keep pushing myself to be the best player I can be.

Reporter: You've played four matches so far this season. How do you think the team is performing?

Giovanni Walters: I think we've been doing well, but there's always room for improvement. We've conceded seven goals so far this season, which is not ideal, but I'm confident we can work together to tighten up our defense.

Reporter: What's your favorite formation and play style?

Giovanni Walters: I prefer a 4-4-1-1 formation, and I love defending. There's nothing quite like the feeling of making a perfectly timed tackle or intercepting a pass to stop an opposing team's attack.

Reporter: What's your favorite club to play against?

Giovanni Walters: Definitely GAU. They always bring their best game, and it's a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our defensive abilities.

Reporter: Finally, do you have any interesting facts about your life outside of football?

Giovanni Walters: Well, I'm actually a trained chef. When I'm not playing football, I love to cook and experiment with new recipes. It's a great way for me to unwind and relax.
